1st Annual Pig Iron Fest
Rivertownes and Marietta Restoration Co-Sponsors

August 17, 2004--

Rivertownes PA USA and Marietta Restoration Associates will co-sponsor the 1st Annual Pig Iron Fest to benefit restoration of the Musselman/Vesta Office Building.  The event will be held Sunday, September 26th, 2004 from 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM at the Mussleman/Vesta Furnace grounds.  The location is just south of Marietta off Route 441 on the Chickies Rock County Park Furnace Road Day Use Area.  The fest will feature:

Antique, Classic & Street Rod Car Show with Trucks and "Iron Horse" Motorcycles
Living History Tours of the Furnace Ruins by Dr. June Evans and Carol Bromer
Richard Pawling of "History Alive"
Iron and Metal Crafter Exhibits
Antique Steam, Hit & Miss Engine and Tractor Displays
Art & Vintage Photo Exhibit by Klaus Grutzka and Bud Heim
Tom Burke's Fabulous Pork Loin Sandwiches
